The Chanel jacket is iconic. Which is probably why Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld decided to shoot a series of 113 portraits of beautiful people wearing a Chanel black jacket. The resulting images are part of an exhibition which opened in New York a few days ago and will also form a coffee table book.
The styling for the shoot was done by former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld.
Among the celebs featured are Sarah Jessica Parker, Kirsten Dunst, Kanye West, Elle Fanning, Anna Wintour and more.
I love the way the pictures are styled so that the same jacket is demure, sexy, classy, or rock star depending on who is wearing it.
